Treating mites with tea tree sugar patties

Hi, when treating for Varroa mites with tea tree sugar patties. Does the solution have to be thick 1 litre of water : 2 kg of sugar? Or the usual 1 : 1 solution.

Hello, When applying tea tree oil for Varroa mite treatment via sugar patties, add 3-4 drops of the oil to every 500 grams of sugar patty you make.
